DeleteHappy 17 months! And you're brave... I won't let Bella touch a bowl of cereal with milk in it, haha. It's guaranteed to be dumped on the floor (which is carpeted, ew).
ReplyDeleteEveryone thought I was crazy for giving her silverware and open cups at 12 months but she has gotten so good at using them! She hardly ever spills with her spoon now! And is the carpet in your dining room? That's rough! Maybe a large spill mat? Before we had a dining table we ate in the living room and I had to put a big floor mat blanket down under her high chair to protect the carpet. The land of nod has some really cute spill mats!
